Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Manteca is seeking a Laboratory Technologist for night shifts in the Laboratory department. The role involves processing and testing diverse specimens, reporting results, and maintaining instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an approved college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology.
• Current California State Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of medical lab technologist experience in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Processes and tests all types of laboratory specimens accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reviews and reports lab results; performs operational duties, maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Acts as resource to other laboratory personnel; May supervise Laboratory staff in absence of Director.
