• Bachelor's degree in biological science and successful completion of an NAACLS-accredited MLS/CLS program or equivalent.
• A 4-year course of study including 12 months in a college- or hospital-based medical technology program or approved medical technology school.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree with specified biology, chemistry, mathematics coursework and five years of clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids. Certification/licensure as medical technologist is a positive indicator.
