Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist I

Facility: Wesley Chapel Hospital

Location: Wesley Chapel, FL

Status: PRN, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:00PM - 6:30AM

Weekend Work: Every

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

1. Performs all diagnostic testing and quality controls
2. Prepares reagents
3. Reports results according to established policies and procedures
4. Reviews and oversees moderate to high complexity testing
5. Uses, monitors, and maintains computer applications appropriate to the position
6. Maintains equipment and supplies
7. Works independently and in a team
8. Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
9. Demonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills
10. Uses and understands medical terminology
11. Performs other duties as assigned
