Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic tests across laboratory sections. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and MLS certification or equivalent; at least one year of hospital lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• MLS/certification or equivalent is required.
• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
