Covenant Jobs at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX, seeks a Medical Technologist to join a busy clinical laboratory under the supervision of a Section Supervisor. You will perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance tasks to ensure accurate patient results and efficient lab operations.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, MLS, or an equivalent science, with specific coursework or CLIA‑compliant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent science, or meet CLIA requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree: In a chemical, physical, or biological science and completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program. Or
• Bachelor's Degree: Completion of 60 semester hours/90 quarter hours from an accredited college with required chemistry/biology coursework and at least 3 months of full-time clinical experience in all laboratory areas.

Responsabilités

• Employ professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department.
• Under the direction of the Section Supervisor, perform duties to support patient care and laboratory operations.
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities within the clinical laboratory.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree: Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science

Bachelor's Degree: Chemistry/Physics/Biology with MLS program

60 semester hours/90 quarter hours with specified science coursework and 3 months clinical experience
