Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform all aspects of laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring timely, accurate results for neonates to geriatrics. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical science, ASCP certification (or eligible within 1 year), and 1 year of related experience preferred.

On-site role with evening/night shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical science, or equivalent education to qualify under CLIA guidelines.
• ASCP or equivalent certification, or eligible to sit for Board or Registry exam; certification required within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of laboratory testing to ensure timely and accurate services.
• Operate standard laboratory equipment and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
• Evaluate laboratory test results and communicate findings to care teams.
