KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist near Redding, CA, for a full-time role with 4 x 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM) and a starting rate of $50/hour plus benefits.

You will work across Hematology, Transfusion Service/Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Urinalysis, performing instrumentation maintenance and bench microbiology tasks. The ideal candidate holds a California CLS license and has 5+ years of healthcare experience with strong microbiology skills

Formación

• California CLS license required.
• Graduate of an accredited CLS program with internship.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience.
• Strong microbiology experience with Gram stains, culture and susceptibility testing.
• Ability to perform QC and troubleshoot across multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
• Work across Hematology, Transfusion Service/Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology & Urinalysis.
• Strong focus on bench microbiology including cultures, identification and susceptibility testing.
• Communicate STAT, urgent and critical values effectively to care providers.
• Quality control across multiple laboratory departments.

A healthcare organization outside of Redding, CA is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join its laboratory team.

Position Highlights

• Full-time | 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Monday-Thursday | 2:00 PM-12:30 AM

What We're Looking For

• California CLS license required
• Graduate of an accredited CLS program with internship
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience
• Strong microbiology experience, including:
  • Gram stains and rapid strep testing
  • Anaerobic and routine culture setup
  • Positive blood culture processing
  • Plate reading and sub-culturing
  • Organism identification and susceptibility testing
• Comfortable performing QC and troubleshooting across multiple laboratory departments
