Clinical Laboratory Quality Coordinator - Esoteric Testing

Join us at Labcorp as a Clinical Laboratory Quality Coordinator - Esoteric Testing in Burlington, NC! The Quality Assurance team supports laboratory operations, management, clients, and other Labcorp sites. This role is ideal for laboratory professionals with keen attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Work Schedule

1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Benefits

Employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for 401(k) participation only.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support quality assurance projects, controls, improvements, and training
  • Prepare and support regulatory inspections
  • Maintain documentation for inspections
  • Support laboratory during inspections
  • Manage proficiency testing and examinations
  • Coordinate and track proficiency testing
  • Conduct internal audits and prepare reports
  • Generate quality reports for laboratory operations
  • Stay updated on regulatory and proficiency test requirements
  • Manage Master Control forms for audits
  • Participate in monthly Quality Meetings and document minutes
  • Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist/Technician or in a quality-related role
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulations (CAP/CLIA/ISO) and licensing
  • Understanding of audit procedures
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office
