Job summary

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and a Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor license, with at least four years of full-time lab experience.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor license.
• At least four years of full-time laboratory experience; supervisory exposure preferred.
• Experience with quality control procedures and clinical lab reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day test performance by testing personnel.
• Ensure test analysis and specimen examinations meet analytic performance standards.
• Maintain calibration, performance checks, and maintenance of clinical instruments.
• Provide orientation and supervision for laboratory staff; ensure safety and QA programs.
• Interpret data and correlate results with physiological context.
