Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-year clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• State CPT I or CPT II certification if required by the state.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow CLIA guidelines and state codes; unlicensed staff require direct supervision.
• Perform clerical duties: data entry, filing, telephone/communication tasks.
• Greet patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Handle pathology, microbiology, immunology, hematology, chemistry specimens and related processes.
• Maintain clean storage areas, trays, centrifuges, and collection areas; stock supplies.
• Assist in Pathology with training and evaluation.
