Job summary

Diamond Medical Laboratories seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist to perform clinical laboratory testing across multiple sections. You will receive specimens, run tests per standardized procedures, and ensure quality control while maintaining preventive maintenance protocols.

You will interpret results for accuracy and critical limits, organize work to meet deadlines, and record all data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science or accredited MLT/Medical Technology program.
• Nationally recognized certification at the technologist level or 3 years MLT experience.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory testing in various sections of the Laboratory.
• Receives specimens and performs tests by standardized procedures.
• Understands method principles and performs quality control and preventative maintenance.
• Interprets results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits.
• Interacts with nurses and staff, calls critical results and resolves issues.
