Qualifications

• Associates Of Science in a biological or chemical science per CLIA, on hire.
• Military medical laboratory course and Military Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician) background on hire.
• Preferred AMT/ASCP/AAB certifications for Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderate laboratory procedures with accuracy and timeliness per SOPs.
• Provide clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values to care teams.
• Maintain major automated equipment with calibration, maintenance, and vendor contacts for repair as needed.
• Perform calibration and quality control procedures and document results within established parameters.
• Contribute to proficiency testing and review outcomes with laboratory leadership.
• Assist in evaluating new procedures and equipment for validated laboratory testing.
