Responsibilities

• Process and analyze samples accurately and promptly.
• Set up, run, maintain, and adjust laboratory instruments.
• Take appropriate action for quality control and infection control procedures.
• May perform quality control summaries and phlebotomy procedures as needed.
• Complete forms and report findings to nurses and/or physicians.
• Interact with healthcare workers to interpret patient lab results within clinical lab framework.
• Maintain records and ensure safety, security, and infection control.
