Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples, analyze results for accuracy and ensure instrument reliability. The role includes calibrating equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and implementing corrective actions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Medical Technology or related field, practical lab experience, and certification eligibility (ASCP MLS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field or HEW/HHS equivalent.
• 1–3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• ASCP MLS or equivalent certification eligible at date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze results for accuracy.
• Calibrate instruments and perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Record quality control results and institute corrective actions as needed.
