Qualifications

• Experience with blood collection and specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Receives patient specimens and verifies information for correct identification.
• Performs routine hematology tests and maintains instrument operation and QC.
• Conducts microbio and chemistry tests as directed and ensures results are recorded.
• Adheres to safety procedures and uses PPE as required.
• Maintains laboratory readiness, cleans work areas and stocks supplies.
