Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years laboratory experience preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Physician-ordered tests and biomarker analysis experience helpful.
• Proficient with LIS and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and report results across Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology and Urinalysis.
• Perform Hematology QC and Levey Jennings charts.
• Maintain lab logs and quality control records.
• Order and track tumor profiling and biomarker analyses.
• Maintain instruments, calibrations and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control policies; ensure proper disposal of biohazards.
• Train new staff and update procedures as needed.
