Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform and interpret tests across various patient age groups including neonates to geriatrics. Candidates must have completed a formal technician training program and possess strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have robust attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and the ability to understand medical terminology. A successful state-recognized certification and experience in clinical labs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal twelve-month technician training program.
• Ability to pass a state-recognized exam for Technician (MLT) level.
• Experience in patient specimen collection and patient relations training.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory.
• Diagnoses and cares for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
