• Maintains positive specimen identification throughout testing and reporting processes.
• Performs venipunctures and capillary draws on patients.
• Prepares specimens for shipment to reference lab.
• Performs patient and QC testing according to manufacturer written procedures; records remedial actions and notifies supervisor as appropriate.
