Responsibilities

• Schedules flexibility to meet lab needs.
• Maintains attendance and follows leaves policy.
• Ensures bench is stocked and communicates shifts via logs or notes.
• Completes assigned tasks within turnaround time and proficiency testing.
• Performs routine patient testing including specimen collection and reporting.
• Maintains QC, proficiency testing, and instrument maintenance records.
• Operates lab instruments and reviews QC and checks functions.
• Participates in departmental activities, education, and mentoring of new staff.
• Attends meetings and completes required competencies and education.
• Pursues training and certification to enhance area focus.
