Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and terminology.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and distribute clinical laboratory specimens (blood, urine, tissue).
• Verify patient information and accession samples into the LIS; prepare samples for testing.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, storage, and disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory area.
• Adhere to safety standards and PPE usage, and to accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management.
