Position Summary:
The Clinical Lab Section Leader is a Medical Technologist responsible for managing a workload comparable to other staff Med Techs. They perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures, maintain records, investigate out-of-control results, review reports, maintain equipment, and participate in developing procedures and policies. They monitor staff performance, participate in evaluations, and handle personnel actions. The role includes coaching staff, resolving conflicts, and ensuring effective communication and scheduling.
