Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Position Details

Shift: Per Diem (PRN)

Hours: 12 hour shifts

Pay Range:$39.41 - 63.56 per hour

Job Summary

• Following procedures established by the Section Heads and medical directors, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA.
• CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment, computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the biological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.
• Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship.
• Valid and current California CLS license.
• Must provide original/original duplicate license upon hire.
• Bachelors or better in Chemistry.
