Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory testing under the supervision of the Department Manager. This role requires a California license for CLS or CLS-Microbiologist and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology is required/frontier; clinical laboratory roles prefer 1 year experience.
• California State License for CLS or Clinical Laboratory Microbiologist is required.
• Experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following the policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and hospital.
• Work under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Supervisor to ensure quality and accuracy of results.
