Hartford HealthCare's MidState Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Professional to perform, interpret, and correlate clinical tests to support physician diagnosis and treatment. The role requires handling complex problem-solving for instrument and workflow challenges in a high-stakes clinical setting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with biology and chemistry coursework and ASCP certification within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with biology and chemistry prerequisites including microbiology and organic/biochemistry.
ASCP or equivalent categorical/generalist certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Ability to adopt H3W Leadership behaviors and become a strong H3W ambassador.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and listening) and leadership abilities.
Compliance with OSHA and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe lab environment and meet accreditation standards.
