Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a laboratory professional to perform diagnostic tests in the Clinical Laboratory under the General Lab Supervisor. You will generate data used in diagnosis and treatment and must ensure accuracy and timeliness with a low error rate.

Candidates should hold an AS or BS degree with appropriate experience and obtain national certification within 18 months of hire; ASCP is preferred. Shift includes weekday hours and every third weekend with full-time status.

Job description

Under the general direction of the General Lab Supervisor, performs a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory to obtain date for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Demonstrates the basic knowledge, skills, and ability to perform a variety of laboratory tests in a timely manner yielding accurate and precise results with a low error rate.

Requirements: AS degree and a minimum of 4 years experience OR BS degree and minimum of 2 years experience. Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience required.Nationally recognized certification within 18 months of hire. Once obtained, maintenance of certification is not required. ASCP preferred.

• Pay Range: $28.06 - $42.08;
• Work Status: Monday-Friday 630a-3:00p (start time flexible). Every 3rd weekend. ;
