Job summary

Dignity Health’s St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA seeks a Clinical Lab Scientist III to plan, coordinate and direct activities for the designated laboratory section, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will implement new procedures and provide technical assistance and training to laboratory personnel, while communicating clearly in writing and speech. The role requires demonstrated leadership, the ability to direct others, and collaboration with multiple departments

Qualifications

• Three (3) years clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in section of specialty
• California Medical Technologist license (LIC CLS)

• Plan, coordinate and direct activities for the designated laboratory section (Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
• Direct the implementation of new procedures and provide training to staff.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally and provide leadership to the team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Lab Scientist III, you will plan, coordinate and direct activities for responsible section (Chemistry, Microbiology, etc).

Every day you will direct the implementation of new procedures. Also provide technical assistant and training of laboratory personnel. You will communicate skillfully in writing and orally.

To be successful in this role, you must have ability to direct and provide leadership to others.

• Have knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission).

• Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis especially in section of responsibility.

• Ability to be an effective team member, and work with many publics across all departments.

Pay Range

$59.91 - $71.21 /hour
