Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital Inc., part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to perform routine and STAT laboratory testing across the laboratory.

Reporting to the Director of Laboratory Services, the CLS will maintain accurate patient records, stay current with procedures, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely, reliable results. A valid California CLS certification and state licensure are required, with two years of CLS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid CLS certification from the State of California required.
• Meets the California DHS Laboratory Field Services licensure education requirements.
• Two years as CLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads, interprets, records, and maintains patient testing records.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of procedures and instrument operation.
• Reviews pending reports and resolves specimen/test issues; escalates as needed.
