Madera Community Hospital in Central California is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) Generalist to join our hospital laboratory. The role performs specimen collection, preparation and analysis across age groups, following established procedures and quality controls to deliver accurate results.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of CLS experience, California CLS license, a Bachelor of Science, and strong communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-5 years' experience as a CLS Generalist.
• Must be able to handle medical specimens and conform to Universal Infection Control procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and supervisors, nursing and medical staff.
• Requires Current State of California Clinical Lab Scientist License.

Responsabilités

• Collect, prepare and analyze specimens across age range (newborn to geriatric).
• Perform procedures in Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Immunohematology, and Hematology.
• Calculate and report results to meet laboratory and hospital policies and standards.
