Job summary

Qualifications

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.
• Knowledge of all areas in the laboratory demonstrated through interview process.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer system preferred.
• Able to successfully complete a test for color vision.

Responsibilities

• Assists in operation of the Laboratory by performing specialized testing.
• Performs and reports results of tests with accuracy.
• Assists in training and orientation of new technologists.
• Directs work of laboratory assistants and ancillary personnel.
• Maintains working knowledge of SOPs and quality control policies.
• Supports the hospital mission, core values and performance improvement goals.
