Universal Health Services invites qualified candidates for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist role in California. Under the Department Manager and Supervisor, the CLS will perform laboratory testing, document results, and follow hospital procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, California State License as a CLS or Clinical Laboratory Microbiologist, and the option of 1 year MT experience.
Under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Supervisor, the CLS is responsible to perform laboratory testing following the policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and the hospital.
Perform laboratory testing in accordance with policy and procedure. Ensure accurate results, proper documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Maintain equipment and participate in quality control and quality assurance activities as required by the department.
