Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
• Montana Clinical Lab Scientist license required.
• Board certification as Medical Lab Technologist (ASCP or state exam) is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and label blood specimens using correct technique.
• Process laboratory requisitions and specimens.
• Perform high complexity testing.
• Alter methods for neonate to geriatric patients as needed.
• Maintain and operate laboratory instruments safely.
• Perform quality control studies and instrument checks.
• Document procedures and meet regulatory standards.
• Communicate critical values to care teams.
• Collaborate with supervision and other departments.

Education
