Hoxworth Blood Center (HBC), University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938 and serves more than 30 hospitals in 18 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. Annually, Hoxworth collects more than 100,000 units of blood from local donors to help save the lives of patients in area hospitals. Hoxworth Blood Center: Saving Lives Close to Home. HBC is located within the College of Medicine and is the only Regional Blood Center owned and operated by a University in the United States.
The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Hoxworth Blood Center, Immunohematology Reference Laboratory (IRL) is recruiting for a Clinical Lab Scientist 2 position, to assist with coordination of assignment and review of laboratory or product testing. The candidate will organize, execute and conduct clinical laboratory testing and/or product manufacturing. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. The incumbent will be trained on the first shift, then assigned to work the third shift, once training is completed.
SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000
STARTING PAY RANGE: $29-34 hourly, based on experience
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $4.00 hourly
