Job summary

AHMC HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a minimum of two years of testing experience. The role involves performing testing in assigned work areas without direct supervision and ensuring quality control is executed and documented according to policy.

Candidate must hold a California CLS license (ASCP registration desirable) and demonstrate a strong work ethic with good time/attendance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of laboratory testing experience.
• Must possess a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license; ASCP registration desirable.
• Must demonstrate a good work ethic and be flexible to change.
• Ability to perform quality control and document/resolving QC failures.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in assigned work areas without direct supervision.
• Recognize relationships between test results and respond appropriately.
• Call all critical values to physicians promptly.
• Document QC procedures and resolve QC failures per policy.

Performs all duties with a thorough understanding of both theoretical and technical issues. Performs quality control appropriately and documents and resolves and QC failures according to policy. Recognizes the relationship between test results and responds appropriately. Calls all critical values to physician.
