  • Maintains records of procedures, patient results and quality control.
  • Performs preventive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation as assigned.

Clinical Lab Scientist/Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Specialist (CLS/MT/MLS)

Schedule: This is a full‑time, evening shift role.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.
  • Operates laboratory equipment in a high‑quality, effective manner.
  • Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits, and reports documents results per organizational standards.
  • Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment and reports them to the patient, physician or registered nurse.
  • Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment.
  • Performs and determines accuracy of technical lab procedures.
  • Maintains records of procedures performed, the patient results and the quality control required for all procedures performed. Maintains accurate and complete records of all quality control tests completed.
  • Assures that all out‑of‑control procedures are followed and that there is documentation of remedial actions taken.
  • Performs all preventive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, as assigned. Reads and understands all procedure manuals on an annual basis.
  • Collects biological specimens. Prepares and forwards biological specimens to appropriate reference laboratory according to departmental procedures.
  • Provides instruction to students/new employees about procedures and departmental policies.
  • Checks available supplies and reports deficiencies to supervisor in a timely manner.
