Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related discipline with 0-1 year experience.
• Certification by ASCP BOC; registry eligible and to be certified within first year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Perform specialized laboratory tests and quality control.
• Troubleshoot quality control errors and laboratory instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical information to medical staff and laypersons.
• Assist training of laboratory personnel and participate in continuing education.
