Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician-Lead to supervise phlebotomy operations and staff scheduling. The role requires strong leadership, staff development, and expertise in blood collection and labeling to maintain preanalytical integrity.

The Lead will coordinate training, participate in interviewing and selection, and ensure adherence to safety and performance standards across shifts. A flexible, service‑minded approach is essential to drive patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience Required: Two (2) years’ experience as a certified phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for addressing personnel issues to ensure efficient laboratory workflow.
• Resolves personnel problems and investigates personnel complaints.
• Prepares training material for new hires and students and coordinates training.
• Works with lab leadership team to develop competencies for Phlebotomy.
• Maintains personnel training and files.
