Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a PRN Driver to safely transport laboratory specimens, documents, and supplies across the organization's locations. The role supports timely patient care and adheres to all safety and storage protocols.

Shift starts at 6:30 AM and ends at 2:30 AM, with variable days. Requires 1 year of parking or transportation experience, a high school diploma, and a valid Georgia driver's license. CDL preferred. Children's is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1 year of parking or transportation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Commercial driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Children's vehicles to locations.
• Facilitate pick-up and delivery of medical specimens, documents, and supplies.
• Ensure timely deliveries with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Handle and transport medical specimens following safety protocols.
• Maintain records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with laboratory staff and departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and well-equipped.
• Comply with all policies concerning specimen transport.
