Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is hiring to prepare patient specimens for analysis and provide technical support for a clinical service.

You will consult with healthcare providers and supervisors, troubleshoot equipment and workflow, and may assist in teaching students and staff.

This full‑time, evening‑shift role is onsite with a pay range of $19.12–$27.17 per hour, paid based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Investigates and troubleshoots problems with equipment, procedures, specimens, reagents and/or workflow.

• May monitor daily operation of a specific clinical service or program.
• May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.
• Performs specimen processing procedures. Provides quality control and equipment maintenance.
