Qualifications

• Must have California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or II License upon hire.
• Preferred: two years of college coursework.
• Preferred: one year of experience as a clinical laboratory assistant in an acute care lab.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and perform related phlebotomy duties.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain daily quality control data.
• Assist Medical Technologists in clinical laboratory tests and handle send-outs.
• Answer phone inquiries and assist units with laboratory questions.
• Assist with collection of other specimen types and maintenance of lab equipment.
