Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with EKGs and healthcare/clinical laboratory settings preferred.
• CPT phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and Piedmont standards.
• Performs venipunctures at applicable sites and prepares blood specimens according to Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
