Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with OSF Phlebotomy training completed within 6 months of hire; prior phlebotomy experience is preferred. EMR proficiency is required.

• Successful completion of OSF Phlebotomy class within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform specimen collection and proper storage of specimens.
• Prepare specimens for transport and conduct point-of-care testing and quality testing per CAP/Joint Commission and CLIA standards.
• Review provider orders and maintain up-to-date knowledge of laboratory standards.
• Keep accurate records such as quality control and temperature monitoring.
• Commit to patient identification and excellent customer service.
