Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant PRN to support Histology, Send outs and Cytology in Fort Worth. The role covers specimen processing, test procedures, and daily lab operations with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Training and mentorship are provided, with opportunities for growth within our Magnet-designated hospital system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• Specimen processing experience highly preferred.
• 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
• PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
