Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Lab Assistant to help solve diagnostic challenges by collecting, preparing, and processing patient specimens for a variety of tests. You will work with our advanced technology, maintain accuracy in labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and data entry, and support the lab team with ongoing learning and strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CA Phlebotomy Technician License required.
• AHA BLS Certification required.
• Fire Safety Card required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with specimen processing, including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting.
• Prepare reagents and solutions according to established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies for cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Perform routine lab tasks such as washing glassware, sterilizing instruments, and preparing culture media.
• Assist with data entry and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the laboratory supervisor.
