Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Lab Assistant to join the Virginia Beach, VA team. You will collect and process specimens, perform POCT, register patients, and assist with patient care activities.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, data entry, and equipment operation, with occasional EKG and bedside tasks. BLS is required within 90 days of hire; prior lab or clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in physician practice, outpatient clinic, or lab preferred.
• Phlebotomy, POCT, specimen collection and processing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Register patients and enter test data accurately.
• Monitor supplies and operate lab equipment.
• Support internal and external inquiries; assist bedside care as needed.
• May perform EKG and glucose monitoring.
