Job summary

Responsibilities & Requirements

This opening is for all locations and all shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels, and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas.
  2. Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance tests in all patient areas.
  3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and/or have a high school diploma or the equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience preferred and/or graduation from a phlebotomy program.
