Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and preferably experience from a phlebotomy program.

• Graduation from a phlebotomy program is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas
• Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance test in all patient areas.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and/or high school graduation or the equivalent.

• 1 year experience preferred and/ or graduation from phlebotomy program
