Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Laboratory Operations professional for the 3rd shift.

You will ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored, while maintaining strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI). The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with specimen processing, and strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills required.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
