Job summary

Onco360 is seeking a Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician in Woodridge, IL, to support nurses, pharmacists and the daily workflow in a specialty oncology pharmacy. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay and benefits, with schedules Monday to Friday 9:00am–5:30pm CST, and 10:30am–7:00pm CST.

The candidate should have pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Very high attention to detail.
• Pharmacy knowledge including sig codes, Roman numerals, brand/generic names, and basic math.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses, pharmacists, technicians, supervisors, and managers in daily workflow to ensure appropriate reporting of adverse events and product complaints.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily.
• Reports adverse drug reactions within 24 hours of notification.
• Adheres to reporting procedures outlined in GSI documents and Adverse Events Reporting Guidelines.
• Assists with reconciliation related to manufacturer Pharmacovigilance programs.
• Reviews progress notes and patient profiles to identify information required for ADR reports.
• Completes manufacturer training within designated time frames.
• Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
• Follows procedures, rules, regulations and confidentiality laws.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
