Job summary

Mujeres Latinas en Acción in Chicago seeks an Internship and Volunteer Supervisor to recruit, onboard, and supervise interns and volunteers across GBV and community engagement programs.

The role provides clinical supervision, mentors licensure candidates, and partners with colleges and community organizations to strengthen the internship pipeline while ensuring compliance with ethical and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years post-licensure clinical experience in relevant settings.
• Experience in clinical supervision and intern/volunteer coordination.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Trauma‑informed, culturally inclusive, survivor‑centered practices.
• Commitment to diverse immigrant/Latinx communities.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organizational and data management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and supervise interns and volunteers across GBV and Community Engagement programs.
• Provide individual and group clinical supervision for interns and supervise licensure groups as needed.
• Coordinate placements, monitor performance, and track metrics for reporting.
• Develop and expand partnerships with colleges, universities, and community partners.
• Support volunteer initiatives, including recruitment, placement, and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards, learning contracts, hours tracking, evaluations, and timesheets.
• Oversee daily activities and enforce ethical, legal, and professional guidelines.
• Lead curriculum refinement and distribution of training materials.
• Prepare timely reports for grant funders and internal stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at community events and advocacy forums.
