The Department of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine is seeking outstanding applicants for a PART-TIME Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in the Division of Medical Oncology. Under general supervision and in accordance with standardized procedures, the nurse practitioner/physician assistant will perform physical examinations, treat common episodic and chronic health problems, counsel patients and families, monitor patient progress, and assist with clinical research projects. The role involves collaboration with healthcare team members, with responsibility for ongoing clinical management of oncology patients.
Successful candidates will have strong clinical skills and an interest in serving a diverse patient population in both private and public clinical settings. The NP or PA will work with several oncologists (Head/Neck, Lung, GU, etc.) at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Minimum Requirements: For NP candidates, possession of a current certificate of completion from a Nurse Practitioner program, valid California RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and clinical nursing experience.
Note: This is a practitioner position; you will not be teaching NP or PA students.
The annual base salary range is $76,440 - $215,300.80. When extending an offer, USC considers various factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, legal considerations, funding, and market conditions.
